ETL Certified for UL Compliance; what does that mean?
Many Ergo-Express Power Drive Solutions carry the mark of ETL Certification for UL compliance, but what does this mean?
The Intertek ETL listing mark demonstrates that the product is in compliance to requirements of acceptable safety standards by the NRTL (Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory). The NRTL independently tests and periodically follows up with inspections of all products it gives the ETL listing. Many inspectors, code officials and any authorities having jurisdiction will recognize and accept this ETL mark as proof of product compliance throughout North America.
ETL as a symbol of safety
When the ETL mark is listed on a product this indicates to customers that your product has been rigorously tested by the NRTL; which is recognized by OSHA and ensures products are safe for use in the US workplace. This mark shows that the product is found to be in compliance with accepted national safety standards.
In a nut shell
The ETL mark is a recognized symbol of safety that the product being purchased has been tested, approved and safe for use in North America.
